confident that you are leaving your child with people who have appropriate qualifications and experience, and who will be able to make your child feel secure and happy. and are proactive in ensuring the needs of individuals are met..." (OFSTED 2004) "...staff provide excellent role models for the children, who in turn are very caring towards each other..." (OFSTED 2004) Nursery Nurses:- hold an Early Years Qualification equivalent to a Level 2/3
- organise activities and interact closely with the children
Room Supervisors: as above and...- hold an Early Years Qualification equivalent to a Level 3.
- have at least 3 years post-qualification experience.
- take responsibility for the day-to-day safety, security and well-being of the children in their room.
- create a stimulating and attractive environment.
- oversee the record keeping and planning of activities.
The Nursery Manager:- holds an Early Years Qualification equivalent to a Level 4 (NNEB, BTEC, NVQ)
- has at least 5 years post-qualification experience.
- is responsible for monitoring standards and staff discipline and overseeing the planning of children's activities as well as all other aspects of the day-to-day management of the Nursery.
- has overall responsibility for the well-being and safety of your child.
- is available to answer questions or concerns about any aspect of the Nursery.
Nursery Assistants:- have attended basic childcare training courses.
- are employed for their caring nature, enthusiasm and interaction skills.
- are supervised by qualified staff.
